Geophysics on the Glebe field

On Wednesday 8th October Archaeophysica visited the Glebe field (the ‘Mill’ site) to carry out a geophysics survey.  We had an excellent turn out of folk wanting to see the site and hear about what the geophysics survey entails.  Thank you to Anne from Archaeophysica for explaining the process to us – I’m sure

all those who came to the talks found them very informative.  The results should show the archaeologists where the best places to dig will be.  We’re all really looking forward to seeing and hearing about the results.
