Inspiring young minds…

One of our young volunteers has written this lovely account of the time he spent on the ‘Glebe field’ during the week of the archaeological dig.  Do we have a future archaeologist in the making?

I had a great time on my visit to the Mill site.

I found some tiles with my friend Chris. I found an old piece of rock. I liked using the mattock which is like a pick axe. One of my favourite archaeologists is called Rob he can identify old pieces of china and rock. I might be an archaeologist when I grow up.

Two years ago I found an old blacking bottle in the steam on the village green in Abberley.

I am looking forward to the dig for the Castle.
